The Lawrence Bulldogs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Gardiner Tigers to 7 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lawrence improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Belfast (Belfast, ME) to clash with the Lions in a Class B North game on Tuesday, May 9. The Lions come into the game with a record of 5-3. Belfast won 10-0 in their recent league game against Winslow (Winslow, ME)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) in a Class B South game, on Wednesday, May 10. Gardiner will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).
