In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Hendrick Hudson Sailors softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the John Jay Patriots.

Coming up next, the Sailors battle the Walter Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) in a Section 1 II - C outing, on Wednesday, May 10. Hendrick Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 3-10 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Yonkers (Yonkers, NY).

The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY). The Indians enter the Section 1 I - A outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Ketcham tipped Mahopac (Mahopac, NY), 15-0, in a league outing.
