Spectators at Monday's league match between the Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) and the visiting Leo Lions (Leo, IN), observed Huntington North's softball team edge Leo by a score of 6-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 9. Huntington North will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Berries come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Caston (Fulton, IN).

The Lions (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Eagles come into the Northeast Eight test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Columbia City edged Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN), 11-1, in a non-league test.
