Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 13-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Linden for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11.

With the loss, Neptune falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Scarlet fliers host Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9.
