New York High School Softball - New Hartford bounces Vernon-Verona-Sherrill

The New Hartford Spartans routed the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils softball squad by a final score of 21-1 in Monday's league battle.
The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Whitesboro topped Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Red Devils now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame for a Section 3 Tri-Valley battle on Tuesday, May 9. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will meet a Jugglers squad coming off a 12-6 league loss to Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Jugglers record now stands at 9-2.
