The Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) softball routed the visiting South Colonels (Worcester, MA), 5-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Woolies go into the South Worc Cty - East bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Millbury held off Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
The Colonels now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Nipmuc Regional for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 10. South will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Hopedale (Hopedale, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
