The Peru Nighthawks softball team (Peru, NY), was routed 9-2 in Monday's league test with the visiting Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY)

Coming up next, the Red Storm clash with the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test, on Thursday, May 11. Saranac Lake will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 13-7 league win over Moriah (Port Henry, NY).

The Nighthawks (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Beekmantown edged Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY), 14-4, in a league test.
