Indiana High School Softball - Speedway knocked off by Tri-West Hendricks

May 8, 2023: Speedway, IN 46224

In Monday's non-league contest, the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN), by a margin of 17-1.

With the triumph, Tri-West Hendricks moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Bruins travel to Danville (Danville, IN) to play the Warriors in a Sagamore contest on Tuesday, May 9. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 12-4. Danville lost 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cascade (Clayton, IN)

In their next game, the Sparkplugs play the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders (Indianapolis, IN) in a Indiana Crossroads contest, on Tuesday, May 9. Speedway will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 16-2 non-league loss to Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN).
