The Kirksville Tigers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Palmyra Panthers to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers (19-12) will now prepare for their match against Northeast (Cairo, MO). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Northeast edged Van-Far (Vandalia, MO), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (8-14) will now prepare for their match against Highland (Ewing, MO). The Cougars go into the Class 3 District 7 match with a 3-16 record. In their last match, Highland was overwhelmed by Hannibal (Hannibal, MO), 16-0, in a non-league match.
