In Wednesday's league test, the host Kimberly Papermakers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Wausau East Lumberjacks.
The Papermakers now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Bend East for a non-league test on Saturday, May 11. Kimberly will face a Suns squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Neenah (Neenah, WI). The Suns record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks face the Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) in a Bay Valley Conference test, on Monday, May 13. Wausau East will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 12-1 league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI).
