The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH) and the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), saw Laurel's lacrosse team achieve victory over Orange by a margin of 8-3.

The Gators (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Mentor edged Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the Region 6 challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Vincent-St. Mary was overwhelmed by Highland (Medina, OH), 13-9, in a non-league challenge.
