Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastbrook for a Central Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 9. Alexandria-Monroe will face a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Oak Hill (Converse, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Elwood falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to face the Argylls in a Central Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Argylls enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. Madison-Grant won 16-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN)
