In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), by a margin of 18-2.
With the triumph, Glastonbury moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Guardians travel to Southington (Southington, CT) to play the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West contest on Friday, May 10. The Blue Knights come into the contest with a record of 12-3.
