The Bedford North Lawrence Stars softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Madison Cubs to 0 in the Stars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Bedford North Lawrence improves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Stars host Seymour (Seymour, IN) to clash with the Owls in a Hoosier Hills game on Thursday, May 9. The Owls come into the game with a record of 5-12. Seymour lost 12-0 in their recent league game against Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN)

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Henryville Hornets (Henryville, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 10. Madison will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN).
