The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) and the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Wapahani's softball squad achieve victory over Blackford by a count of 14-3.

The Raiders now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yorktown for a non-league match on Friday, May 10. Wapahani will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-3 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Blackford falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bruins host Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to face the Indians in a Central Indiana match on Friday, May 10. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-7. Mississinewa lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN)
