The Boonville Pioneers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats to 5 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Boonville improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Pioneers travel to North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a Pocket game on Thursday, May 9. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 13-5. North Posey won 7-0 in their recent league game against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 9. Evansville Mater Dei will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record.
