The Chardon Hilltoppers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers to 1 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Chardon moves its record to 18-8 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Mathews (Vienna, OH) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, May 10. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 19-6. Mathews won 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Wellsville (Wellsville, OH)

In their next game, the Black Tigers clash with the Revere Minutemen (Richfield, OH) in a Suburban - American game, on Friday, May 10. Cuyahoga Falls will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Minutemen come into the game with a 7-13 record after their 13-11 non-league win over Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH).
