In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen softball team scored a nice 14-5 win over the Union City Soaring Eagles.
Coming up next, the Minutemen battle the New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 11. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ).
The Soaring Eagles (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ). The Gaels enter the non-league outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Roxbury was routed by Randolph (Randolph, NJ), 2-1, in a league outing.
