The Evergreen Park Mustangs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Stagg Chargers to 7 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Evergreen Park moves its record to 13-12 on the year. The Mustangs host Reavis (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Rams in a South Suburban game on Friday, May 10. The Rams come into the game with a record of 10-15.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban game, on Thursday, May 9. Stagg will attempt to move on its 4-20 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 25-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
