Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) and the visiting Hamilton Heights Huskies (Arcadia, IN), witnessed Westfield's softball squad tip Hamilton Heights by a count of 10-7.

The Shamrocks now sport a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Hamilton Southeastern for a Hoosier Crossroads match on Thursday, May 9. Westfield will face a Royals squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Richmond (Richmond, IN). The Royals record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Hamilton Heights moves to 15-7 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN) to face the Bombers in a Hoosier match on Friday, May 10. The Bombers go into the match with a record of 9-7. Rensselaer Central lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Tri-County (Wolcott, IN)
