Delaware High School Softball - Indian River bounces Padua Academy

Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware Military Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Indian River will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Padua Academy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The travel to St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-9.
