The Watseka Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Momence Momence Athletics to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Watseka improves its record to 18-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to South Newton (Kentland, IN) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, May 10. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 3-12. South Newton won 16-4 in their recent league game against Frontier (Chalmers, IN)

In their next game, the Momence Athletics clash with the Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL) in a River Valley game, on Thursday, May 9. Momence will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 11-12 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL).
