Indiana High School Softball - South Putnam can't hold off West Vigo

The South Putnam Eagles softball team (Greencastle, IN), was tipped 9-8 in Wednesday's league test with the host West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN)

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a Western Indiana test, on Thursday, May 9. West Vigo will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Tiger Cubs come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 9-0 league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IN).

The Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Northview (Brazil, IN). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Northview edged Brown County (Nashville, IN), 9-0, in a league test.
