Kentucky High School Baseball - Adair County nips Larue County

The Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) baseball got by the visiting Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metcalfe County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Adair County will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Larue County drops to 20-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Bruins go into the challenge with a record of 12-15. Central Hardin won 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Green County (Greensburg, KY)
