Indiana High School Baseball - Charlestown defeats Austin

May 8, 2025: Charlestown, IN 47111

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) and the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Charlestown's baseball team beat Austin by a margin of 8-2.

The Pirates (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN). The Highlanders enter the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Floyd Central was overwhelmed by Seymour (Seymour, IN), 14-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 9. Austin will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN).
