The Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Bishop Foley Ventures to 8 in the Fighting Irish league win on Thursday.

The Fighting Irish now own a 12-20 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal Mooney Catholic for a Catholic C-D C test on Monday, May 12. Gabriel Richard will play a Cardinals team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-10.

With the defeat, Bishop Foley drops to 7-7 on the year. The Ventures travel to Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Shorians in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Shorians go into the test with a record of 10-7.
