Indiana High School Baseball - Bluffton sneaks past Jay County

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Bluffton Tigers (Bluffton, IN) and the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), saw Bluffton's baseball team get by Jay County by a tally of 7-6.

The Tigers (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Monroeville, IN). The Patriots enter the Allen County battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Heritage was tipped by Columbia City (Columbia City, IN), 9-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots face the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. Jay County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 9-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN).
