In Thursday's league game, the host Colonia Patriots baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the J.P. Stevens Hawks.
The Patriots (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Ferris was overwhelmed by Union City (Union City, NJ), 10-0, in a league game.
Next, the Hawks play the Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. J.P. Stevens will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record.
