Rhode Island High School Baseball - Mt. Pleasant holds off Exeter-West Greenwich

The Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) baseball the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), 8-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Kilties now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 2 challenge on Friday, May 9. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 19-9 league loss to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Exeter-West Greenwich drops to 8-4 on the year. The Scarlet knights travel to Scituate (North Scituate, RI) to clash with the Spartans in a Division 3 challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Scituate lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)
