The Cardinals now own a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Malvern for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Sandy Valley will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Jefferson County Christian (Mingo Junction, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 6-11.

With the defeat, Garfield drops to 0-5 on the year. The Rams travel to East (Akron, OH) to clash with the Dragons in a Akron City Series challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 4-3. East won 18-4 in their recent league challenge against Buchtel (Akron, OH)
