In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Parsippany Hills Vikings baseball team scored a close 9-4 win over the Glen Ridge Ridgers.
The Vikings (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks go into the non-league game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Parsippany nudged Summit (Summit, NJ), 7-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Ridgers play the Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 9. Glen Ridge will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 3-12 record after their 17-11 non-league win over Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ).
