In Thursday's non-league bout, the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH), by a score of 10-0.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 9. Hiland will attempt to advance on its 17-0 season record. The Scotties enter the bout with a 17-3 record after their 13-3 league win over Maysville (Zanesville, OH).

The Indians (6-12) will now prepare for their bout against Norwayne (Creston, OH). The Bobcats enter the non-league bout with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Norwayne was overwhelmed by Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH), 5-2, in a league bout.
