In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Randolph Rockets baseball team scored a close 9-5 victory over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights.
The Rockets (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 12-4 record. In their last game, Caledonia held off Fillmore Central/Lanesboro (Harmony, MN), 8-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Knights face the Medford Tigers (Medford, MN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 9. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 5-2 league loss to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN).
