In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Mounds Park Academy Panthers baseball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Liberty Classical Academy .
The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans enter the Independent Metro Athletic game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, St. Paul Academy-Summit was tipped by Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN), 18-1, in a league game.
Next, the face the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Liberty Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, MN).
