The New Life Academy Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Agnes for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. New Life Academy will play a Aggies team coming off a 16-14 non-league win over St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Aggies record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, St. Paul Academy-Summit drops to 2-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN) to play the Lions in a Independent Metro Athletic test on Friday, May 9. The Lions go into the test with a record of 11-0. Providence Academy won 14-10 in their recent league test against Blake (Minneapolis, MN)
