The Newtown Nighthawks triumphed over the visiting Bethel Wildcats lacrosse team by a tally of 18-2 in Thursday's league match.
Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 10. Newtown will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Lakeview (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Lakeview was overwhelmed by Bethel (Bethel, CT), 18-2, in a non-league match.
