Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting York Wildcats (York, ME), 13-8 in a league game.

With the victory, Marshwood improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-2. Massabesic won 13-3 in their recent league game against Noble (North Berwick, ME)

The Wildcats now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gardiner for a Class B game on Tuesday, May 13. York will play a Tigers team coming off a 15-6 league loss to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
