The Vikings (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Portage Central prevailed over Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI), 18-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chieftains face the Berrien Springs Shamrocks (Berrien Springs, MI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Dowagiac will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Shamrocks enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI).
