The Westerly Bulldogs lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Pilgrim Patriots to 9 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Smithfield for a Division 2 challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Westerly will clash with a Sentinels squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 4-10.
The Patriots (7-6) will now prepare for their match against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels go into the Division 1 (State) challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, South Kingstown was nipped by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 10-6, in a league challenge.
