Illinois High School Softball - Ridgewood bounces Aurora East

May 8, 2025: Norridge, IL 60706

In Thursday's league match, the host Ridgewood Rebels softball team scored a nice 20-5 victory over the Aurora East Tomcats.

The Rebels (7-9) will now prepare for their match against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the Upstate Eight match with a 13-12 record. In their last match, West Aurora gained a win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 8-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tomcats battle the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight match, on Monday, May 12. Aurora East will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record. The Royals go into the match with a 11-14 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL).
