The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) and the visiting Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), observed Blackduck's softball team prevail over Lake of the Woods by a tally of 10-0.

The Drakes (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN). The Northern Freeze go into the Freelance bout with a 0-12 record. In their last bout, Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] was routed by Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN), 25-13, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Warroad Warriors (Warroad, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Lake of the Woods will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
