In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Bloomington South Panthers softball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Seymour Owls.
The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs go into the Conference Indiana match with a 8-9 record.
In their next game, the Owls battle the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) in a Hoosier Hills match, on Tuesday, May 13. Seymour will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Stars go into the match with a 16-8 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN).
