With the triumph, Champaign Central upgrades its record to 19-1 on the year. The Maroons host Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-15. Decatur Eisenhower lost 19-0 in their recent league game against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL)

The Comets now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Westville for a Vermilion Valley game on Friday, May 9. Oakwood will play a Tigers squad coming off a 16-9 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 23-4.
