New York High School Softball - Sandy Creek sneaks past Cicero-North Syracuse

The Sandy Creek Comets softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars to 3 in the Comets non-league win on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Jefferson for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Sandy Creek will confront a Spartans team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Cicero-North Syracuse moves to 7-3 on the season. The Northstars host Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY) to confront the Bees in a Section 3 Metro battle on Monday, May 12. The Bees come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Baldwinsville lost 19-7 in their recent league battle against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY)
