The Howland Tigers triumphed over the visiting Columbiana Clippers softball squad by a count of 18-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Harding Raiders (Warren, OH) in a All-American challenge, on Monday, May 12. Howland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 15-10 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH).

The Clippers (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Mooney was routed by Harding (Warren, OH), 15-10, in a non-league challenge.
