Indiana High School Softball - Union City Cowan

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) and the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), observed Union City's softball team get by Cowan by a tally of 10-7.

The Indians (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears go into the non-league bout with a 1-15 record. In their last bout, Monroe Central was routed by Centerville (Centerville, IN), 18-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blackhawks clash with the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Cowan will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Rushville (Rushville, IN).
