The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) and the visiting Franklinville Panthers (Franklinville, NY), observed East Aurora's softball team get by Franklinville by a tally of 11-10.

The Blue Devils (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Griffith Institute (Springville, NY). The Griffins go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Griffith Institute tipped Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves (Cattaraugus, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus II East bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Franklinville will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Falconer (Falconer, NY).
