The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) and the host Norton Panthers (Norton, OH), observed Holy Name's softball team get by Norton by a final score of 3-1.

The Green Wave (14-3) will now prepare for their bout against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bruins go into the North Coast bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Padua Franciscan by Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 2-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Norton will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Magics go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).
