The LeRoy Panthers triumphed over the visiting Hoopeston Cornjerkers softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. LeRoy will attempt to upgrade on its 25-4 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 5-1 league loss to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL).

The Cornjerkers (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Cardinals enter the Vermilion Valley challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Chrisman was routed by Watseka (Watseka, IL), 15-0, in a league challenge.
