The Kenston Bombers softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Kirtland Hornets to 2 in the Bombers non-league win on Thursday.

The Bombers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chagrin Falls for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Kenston will confront a Tigers team coming off a 12-11 league loss to Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Kirtland moves to 6-11 on the season. The Hornets travel to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 10-11. West Geauga lost 9-8 in their recent non-league match against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
